Q. I've heard that four stroke outboards are slower than two strokes, is that true?

A. Not even close!!!! In alot of applications the four stroke Suzukis offer a faster cruising speed and faster top end than comparable two strokes. And will save you an arm and a leg in fuel and oil!!!

Q. Is a four stroke to heavy for me boat?

That's a great question, In some situations yes. In most situation no. Suzuki makes several models now that are very close in weight even compaired to 10 or 20 year old 2-strokes.
